1.⁠ ⁠Pre-Onboarding Preparation

 

1.1 Define Requirements & Roles
Identify the required skill set and job responsibilities.
Clearly define the scope of work and expected deliverables.
Set work schedules aligned with the business’s time zone needs. 


1.2 Legal & Compliance Setup
Draft and sign contracts, NDAs, and IP protection agreements. Ensure compliance with labor laws and data security regulations. Provide clear payment terms and tax implications (if applicable). 


1.3 IT & Infrastructure Readiness
Ensure hardware and software requirements are met.
Provide VPN access, cloud storage, and communication tools.
Set up email accounts, project management software, and credentials. 


1.4 Cultural & Process Orientation
Share company mission, values, and work ethics.
Provide documentation on workflow and escalation procedures. Introduce time-tracking, reporting, and productivity expectations. 

2.⁠ ⁠Onboarding & Integration

     

2.1 Welcome & Introduction


Organize a virtual kickoff meeting with key stakeholders. Provide an onboarding schedule and agenda.
Assign a mentor or team lead for initial guidance. 


2.2 Training & Knowledge Transfer
Conduct live training sessions and share training manuals. Record demo videos for recurring tasks and workflows. Assign small test projects for hands-on practice. 


2.3 Set Expectations & Goals
Define performance metrics, KPIs, and reporting structure. Establish milestones for the first 30, 60, and 90 days. Schedule periodic progress reviews. 


2.4 Provide Access to Resources
Share access credentials for necessary tools and databases. Maintain a centralized document repository. Ensure open communication channels for troubleshooting.  


3.⁠ ⁠Ongoing Support & Performance Tracking

     

3.1 Regular Check-ins & Feedback
Conduct weekly/monthly performance reviews. Address challenges and refine processes. Collect feedback for continuous improvement.
